ANIL GADRE

Responsible for all Sun marketing, Anil Gadre’s responsibilities include branding, advertising, market analysis, perception improvement, corporate launches, and demand creation.

Anil has been with Sun more than 17 years in the roles of VP of Product Marketing, VP of North American Field Marketing, General Manager of the Solaris group and VP of Software Marketing. Prior to Sun Anil was with Apollo Computer and Hewlett Packard.

He has a B.S.E.E. from Stanford University and a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

INGRID VAN DEN HOOGEN

Ingrid Van Den Hoogen drives Sun’s brand and identity programs, including corporate identity, online communities, advertising, events, sun.com, and java.com. With java.com, Sun has reached a new audience, rapidly building an entirely new consumer touch point. Ingrid first joined Sun in 1987, developing demos in sales for the visitor center; she moved on to product marketing for graphics and eventually Sun’s first servers. She has held software development positions at Megatek, United Technologies, and GTE Government Systems. Ingrid holds a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from San Jose State University.
