Christineís responsibilities include effective competitive positioning of products, benefits, and pricing. She oversees market planning, competitive assessment, market research, and consumer and purchaser communications, including member and marketing communications, advertising, brand marketing, and proposal development. Additionally, Christine manages the development of program-wide consumer and purchaser Internet functions, including e-commerce capabilities and online clinical features.
Bernardís primary challenge is to positively influence the way people view Kaiser Permanente.
He joined the organization in 1985 and has served as hospital and health plan administrator in Northern California; vice president and regional manager for the Northern California Region; senior vice president in the California Division; president of the Central East Division; and chief operating officer of Regions Outside California (Mid-Atlantic States, Georgia, Northwest, Colorado, Hawaii, and Ohio).
